OW: Things that go wrongThe wax of candles dripped down onto the floor as she worked, her eyes flicking around the carefully outlined sigils now covering the floor of her room. It was truly millimetre detail work, a wrong step Typhoeus said, and this whole thing might blow up into her face. Actually he didn’t say that and that fact was the thing that worried her slightly. Perhaps this time it actually could get dangerous. Those thoughts left with no further impact on her psyche though. She wasn’t able to properly worry about things after all, and this thing might be able to change that.
She wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.
On one hand it might get rid of one of the more major problems in her life.
On the other hand she might die and that problem will take her place.

Goodnight Enigmatic SongShe was the song you hear and, at first blush, don't like.
Well, you don't know how you feel about it so you keep listening in an attempt to discover how exactly you feel and then you reach the end of the song and you realize, you don't like it; you love it.
That was Grace.
She was my coworker and she was my friend.
We carpooled together, I drove and she slept most of the way.
"Don't get much sleep at night, do you?" I asked her, catching those drooping lids mid-descent.
